Special Educational Needs

The Special Educational Needs co-ordinator (SENCO) ensures that appropriate support is provided for pupils with who are identified as having learning difficulties.

This is organised through:

The 'Code of Practice' and Special Education Needs Disability Order (SENDO) regulations guide our decision making.

The Educational Welfare Officer, Literacy Teaching Support Service, Behaviour Support Team, and Educational Psychology offer support and guidance as appropriate.

We also seek to develop an effective partnership with parents in order to address issues related to Special Education.
