Mr N D Owen
Principal
It is my pleasure as the principal of Parkhall Integrated College to welcome you to our website. We aim to serve our community through our vision which is to provide an inclusive, caring learning environment where we all feel valued and respected and are empowered to reach our full potential.
We strive to provide a high-quality education for all our students, helping them achieve strong academic outcomes regardless of their background or personal circumstances. We also pride ourselves in the pastoral care given to students, providing a positive environment in which students thrive. The opportunities we provide allow all students to showcase their talents, whether in the school day or as a result of the wealth of extra-curricular activities on offer. At our core, we regard the education of our students as a partnership between the students, their parents/guardians, the college and the local community.

During the session, students explored the fundamentals of playing brass instruments and discovered the important role music plays in films and video games. The interactive experience was particularly memorable, with some students even having the chance to perform alongside the musicians using boom-whackers. 7 Likes
Our Year 13 Enrichment Programme is underway, with students taking part in a wide range of valuable and engaging activities designed to support their personal development and preparation for the future.
So far, students have participated in a "Dealing with Feelings" workshop, completed an ASCERT NI Drugs and Alcohol Awareness course, and attended a Work Experience Briefing to help them prepare for upcoming placements and future career pathways.
This afternoon, students have divided into groups to take part in one of three specialist sessions: an Introduction to Makaton course, a First Aid Qualification, or a UCAS Preparation Session. These opportunities are helping students develop practical life skills, build confidence, and prepare for the next stage of their educational and professional journeys.
We look forward to sharing more highlights from the programme over the coming week! 15 Likes
