Our Junior Girls’ football team faced a formidable opponent in the first round of the Electric Ireland Junior Schools cup, going up against the strong side of Our Lady and St Patrick’s College Knock. Initially, the game was tightly contested, with OLSPK taking the lead twice in the first half. However, our girls soon found their rhythm and managed to turn the tables. We entered halftime with a 3-2 lead, but we knew there was room for improvement. In the second half, we stepped up our game and secured our spot in the next round. It's worth mentioning the outstanding performance of Grace, who scored two goals directly from corners, as well as Holly, who was named the player of the match.
