The Music and Drama departments have had a busy week!

We performed our concert for the Year 8s on Tuesday afternoon.

On Tuesday evening, the Music and Drama Departments joined together to put on our annual Christmas Carol concert.

The first half celebrated the story of Christmas with the Choir and Orchestra performing songs and Carols, with Cameron Minto singing an excellent rendition of ‘O Holy Night’ and Mrs McKibbin leading the choir in ‘Heaven invites us to a party’. There was also some outstanding audience participation.

The second half showcased performances from the Drama Department in their production of Dickens ‘The Christmas Carol (Antrim style!) and the Year 12 GCSE Musicians performing ‘Libertango’.

On Thursday, Choir and Orchestra visited Antrim Adult Centre, where we performed to their community. There was a lot of joy and singing for all.

As a treat, all musicians were delighted with their hot chocolates on their way back to school!
