Our congratulations go to Marko Bates and his family for his recent meteoric rise in the sport. Over the last 20 or more years here at Parkhall we have produced some outstanding cricketers who have gone on to have stellar careers and Marko is right up there with the best of them.

As a wicketkeeper / batsman he has recently progressed into the Irish U15 team and just this year has made his senior premier league competitive debut behind the stumps – all at the age of only 14 (the youngest to play at this level in the school’s 53 year history).

What a player young Marko is and we are so proud of him here in school and wish him all the very best in his future career.
