On Wednesday 12^th September, Year 13 Health and Social Care Double Award pupils were treated to a visit from the manager of Rosedale care home , Mrs Heather Allison. As part of their Unit 7 assignment, pupils are learning about duty of care and abuse in nursing homes. Heather shared a number of insightful stories about her time working in a number of care homes and informed the pupils on how to best ensure duty of care is met within this setting. The pupils thoroughly enjoyed listening to Heather and had the opportunity to ask her a number of questions throughout.
