Wee Critters visit our Geographers!

Allan from Wee Critters, a former Head Zookeeper at Belfast Zoo, visited each of our Year 8 classes to introduce us to some Tropical Rainforest friends. Today we met Trevor the toad, Arthur the armadillo, Severance the Boa Constrictor, Charlotte the tarantula and a cockroach called Craig No. 314. The sessions allowed our Year 8 Geographers to share their knowledge of the rainforest ecosystem and discuss the threats posed by deforestation. The students thoroughly enjoyed this hands-on experience, and we look forward to welcoming Allan and his wee critters back to the college next year.
