Beam creative project

Our creative beam project continues today in Antrim Grammar. Bethany Foster, from Year 10 has written what she is enjoying most about the project.

“For the past two weeks I have been honoured to represent our school in the prestigious Creative Beam project. Alongside four pupils from Parkhall we have been working in collaboration with Antrim Grammar, St Benedict’s and Riverside pupils to explore topics of diversity and inclusion. It’s been a blast!

We spent time in our Drama suite doing a range and fun and interactive activities. We discussed topics and shared laughs, creating our freeze frames under topics such as culture and community. Listening to pupils my age share their perspectives on the different topics has been fascinating. It’s been amazing to see how we all live in one community yet have different views. The best part so far has been making new friends and getting to know pupils from different schools. I am excited for the weeks ahead. “
