Year 12 Occupational Studies Food Preparation pupils visited Bushes Bakery in Antrim. During their visit they looked at the presentation and the variety of baked goods offered at the bakery. They also asked staff members a number of questions for research to support their learning of the Patisserie and Baking unit. The visit helped enhance the pupils’ learning through finding out the expectations of working at the bakery and the techniques used in baking and presentation of foods and working in the food industry. We would like to thank Bushes for their continued support in delivering the curriculum outside the classroom.
