Our Year 13 artists continue to make significant progress! This week, we enjoyed having the talented ceramic artist Jakki Trainor in school, sharing her stylistic techniques with the students. Jakki designed a workshop on textures, creating surface texture using found dried flowers, twigs and heather. The malleability and consistency of clay allows for endless options for tactile surfaces, this is evident in the work produced by our year 13 art students.
