Charity at Christmas

Once again, the pupils of Parkhall Integrated College have shown kindness and compassion at Christmas. Through two school wide initiatives the pupils, parents and staff have generously donated to the Selection Box and the Christmas Hamper appeal. The generosity shown each year highlights the kindness and community spirit of all pupils, parents and staff at Parkhall.

In total, 575 selection boxes were donated. A number of selection boxes were distributed to Starbucks in conjunction with their Christmas appeal in aid of PIPS charity. The remainder alongside a personalised Christmas card were shared between the residents at a local care home and the pupils of Riverside Special Needs school in Antrim.

For the third year running, Parkhall Integrated College have collection food and essential items to make Christmas Hampers to support those in need within the local community. This year was our largest donation yet making up 50 hampers. These hampers were donated to support HomeStart charity in Antrim with their Christmas appeal to support local families.

Well done and thank you to all involved.
