Parkhall Integrated College continues to establish and cement its Colours and Honours programme this year, by recognising and awarding pupils who have displayed long term commitment and participation to an area of school life.
The structure has been rolled out over the past few years and is designed to focus attention and praise on the many excellent examples of pupils who have continuously represented the school. The programme encompasses all aspects of school life and the awards cover five Colours areas of the Arts, Academia, Community, Leadership and Sport.
To receive the award, pupils had to have been nominated by members of staff in charge of the discipline area, in recognition for their contribution to an area of school life. Pupils could receive Junior Colours due to their long term commitment and participation to an area of school life throughout Junior School. To achieve a Senior Colours awards, pupils will have displayed commitment and participation to an area of school life throughout both Junior and Senior School. This is part of our overall Colours and Honours Rewards System.
Although pupils will be unable to participate in an official ceremony as has been done in previous years, we still want to recognise the achievements of our pupils and as such, pupils awarded will receive a special colours tie and badge for their efforts on their return to school after the summer break.
Congratulations to all young people who have achieved a Junior or Senior Colours award!
