Year 12 Food and Nutrition students completed their practical examinations this week in Home Economics. Students were required to plan, prepare and cook a range of meals to reflect the advice to include more fruit and vegetables in the diet.
All students were set a 3-hour time limit in which they had the opportunity to show a range of technical skills including but not limited to pastry making, custard, roux sauces, making a yeast dough and using equipment correctly.
