Leyton takes part in the Junior Productions Scottish Open Championship

Last weekend, Leyton Hughes (Year 8) traveled to Lochgelly Raceway in Scotland to take part in the Junior Productions Scottish Open Championship. Leyton and his fellow racers had two qualifying race heats to determine their grid positions for the championship. In the first heat, Leyton started 15th and finished an impressive 3rd. In the second heat, he started 7th and finished 2nd. With his outstanding performances in the qualifying heats, Leyton earned the most points and secured the coveted "Pole Position" for the Championship.

Unfortunately, the track conditions proved challenging for Leyton as he spun out in the first corner and was hit by two other cars. Despite this setback, Leyton's talent and determination were evident throughout the competition.

At just 11 years old, Leyton is already a former two-time World Champion in the Ninja Karts and has an impressive collection of championships to his name. His passion for racing and his remarkable skills make him a force to be reckoned with in the world of motorsports.
