Parkhall Integrated College has been presented with the CyberFirst Schools Bronze Award in recognition of evidence based aspirational goals in delivering cyber-security education. The award was presented to Mr Neil Owen (Principal) and Mr Ciaran O’Neill (Head of ICT) by Mr Eamonn Brankin (CyberFirst Regional Delivery Partner Project Lead).
“The CyberFirst Award, recognises schools and colleges whose approach to cyber security education is excellent.” (National Cyber Security Centre). Mr Owen said, “This award is a tribute to our high-quality provision and our on-going work with local employers to equip students with the skills and experiences they need to progress in the fast-changing world of computing. Parkhall Integrated College students have successfully completed degrees and apprenticeships in computing related courses, and this award will further encourage students to explore the excellent prospects in computing and cyber security in particular.”
