Royal Marines

On Thursday 20th September Mr Martin took 13 of our year 13 pupils to Palace Barracks in Hollywood to have a day out with the Royal Marines. This was no normal day out as the group would agree, they were certainly put through their paces and given a small insight into what life may be like as a Royal Marine. They took part in rifle shooting, zip lining, fitness training, team building exercises. At the end of the day's activities all of the pupils agreed that they most certainly enjoyed their day and got a great insight into what daily life may be like in the armed forces.
