Urban rebound

Year 13 students enrolled in the Sport Enrichment Class were given a unique opportunity to partake in an exhilarating session of Urban Rebound led by Elaine Williams from Antrim Forum and accompanied by Mr. Martin. The experience provided a dynamic fusion of physical activity and fun, allowing students to engage in a series of energetic exercises aimed at boosting their cardiovascular fitness and improving their overall well-being.

Urban Rebound, a popular fitness trend, involves performing various movements on mini trampolines, known as rebounders. This form of exercise not only enhances coordination and balance but also helps to strengthen muscles and burn calories effectively. Elaine Williams, a seasoned instructor with a wealth of experience in the field, guided the students through a series of routines designed to challenge their agility and endurance.

Mr. Martin, a supportive presence throughout the session, encouraged the students to push themselves beyond their limits and embrace the benefits of regular physical activity. Studies have shown that engaging in activities like Urban Rebound can lead to improved mental health, increased bone density, and reduced risk of chronic diseases such as heart disease and diabetes.

Overall, the Urban Rebound session was a resounding success, leaving the students invigorated and inspired to incorporate more physical activity into their daily lives. By participating in such engaging and dynamic fitness activities, students not only improve their physical health but also cultivate a positive attitude towards exercise and well-being. The experience served as a testament to the importance of staying active and embracing new and exciting ways to stay fit.
